The VERY Best
Quality of workmanship is superb. Materials are premium. Design is nearly as simple as the original Mosin and easily as reliable. A safety that can be operated without pliers.

No Creep. Breaks clean and crisp. No over-travel. 1.50 pound trigger that I can set to 4 pounds if need be. Whats not to love?

And half the cost of the next best. Thank you for all of that.

pretty much drop in
Had to trim out the slot the release goes in as it rubbed on one side. Otherwise awesome.
Would add a picture but site won't let me.

M-44 Mosin Nagant
Anyone owning a Mosin Nagant knows how poorly the stock trigger is. The Timney Trigger is the best upgrade you can make to your rifle! It turned my M-44 into a tack-driver! It installs easily and works as advertised! It breaks cleanly and the added bonus of a safety was very welcomed. IMHO, it is the Best upgrade you can make to your Mosin Nagant. It breaks cleanly and I love the 3 1/2 lbs pull, it's just right! Buy one, I promise you won't be sorry! Quality product and company service! Thanks Timney for making my old warhorse into a great hunting rifle!

Perfect!
Worth its weight in gold. Any serious sport job is not complete without it. Much better than any other style trigger for this rifle, and a working safety!

great trigger
takes a lot of in letting on the standard stock but drops right in with an archangel stock and goes from a never ending 6 lbs of creep to 2.5 lbs of breaking glass. And it gives you a safety that's actually usable

What Is Trigger Pull weight?

Pull weight is the amount of pressure, in ounces or pounds, required to fire the trigger. Or in other words, how hard you have to squeeze the trigger to shoot your rifle. Timney Trigger experts at our Phoenix, Arizona plant hand-test every trigger in its intended action and then set the pull weight at our factory standard, 3 lbs.

If you prefer a different pull weight you simply select it from the drop down above and your Timney Trigger will be customized to your preference.

The #1 reason to replace your factory trigger with a Timney is accuracy. A lighter, crisper, more consistent trigger pull will make you more accurate with your firearm.

Below is a guide for pull weight selection:

2-2.5 pounds

Light trigger pull weights are great for people shooting lighter weight rifles as they can help keep you on target during the shot. Also common weights for target shooting from a bench.

3-3.5 pounds

By far the most common trigger pull weights -this is great for virtually all applications including target shooting, hunting and 3-gun competitions.

4.0 pounds+

Heavy trigger pull weights are good for cold weather hunting or applications where you may be shooting with gloves on.
