Timney Triggers - Field Proven Accuracy Since 1946
Timney Manufacturing, one of the oldest and largest trigger manufacturers in the world, celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2006. Since it was founded in 1946, Timney Manufacturing has built a reputation based on the quality of its products.
How do they do it, by simply listening to their customers and following the strictest machining standards in the industry. Timney has invested over 2 million dollars in state-of-the-art machinery to manufacture " The World's Finest Triggers". Each trigger is designed with the shooter in mind. All are true drop-in models and most can be installed with basic tools with no gunsmith needed.
Being a family owned business for two generations and having over six decades of experience building triggers has given Timney the ability to create and develop industry-leading technology. Since its inception the company has always looked for ways to improve their products and today they still vigorously test different materials available to make their triggers. Over the years, Timney has selected only the finest quality materials to be used on their products. The trigger's housing is manufactured on computer numerical control (CNC) machines from anodized aircraft quality 6061-T6 aluminum alloy. The trigger components are machined using state-of-the-art electrical discharge machines (EDM) from the highest-grade solid steel available. EDM is one of the most accurate manufacturing processes in the world. All parts are then hardened, polished, and prepared for a lifetime of dependable use. Timney Triggers is proud to offer a lifetime warranty on all of their products, and each trigger is proudly "Made in the USA".
Each step of the time tested Timney manufacturing process is designed with the customer in mind. Timney Triggers is dedicated to ensuring the customer a lifetime of hassle free shooting enjoyment. That is evident in the last step of the manufacturing process, when the trigger is hand assembled, tested, and calibrated for the specific rifle model it is intended for.
Because of their attention to detail and quality, Timney Triggers has been around a long time. In fact, their Sportsman model built to fit Mausers, Springfields, and Enfields rifles, dates back to 1946 and are still being made today. Many of the finest custom rifle makers in the world prefer Timney Triggers in their production rifles. These companies could use any triggers they like, but they demand Timney. For example the award winning Nosler Custom Model 48 Bolt Action rifle, the wildly popular AR-15, and the new externally adjustable True-Set trigger currently being offered on Smith & Wesson's i-Bolt rifle offer the latest in advanced machining and technology built from the finest grade metals available.
