I use this safety on my Backup (bad weather) Mauser since several years.
Works better than many Winchester70-style safetys because of the positive stops in both the "on" and "off" position.
Every friend who used my rifle liked that safety and the low-mounted scope.
It's a simple drop-in fit without any alteration on the original parts.
I always wonder why this safety isn't more common here in Germany.
